arete Australia was tasked with redeveloping the Albert Reserve pavilion facility for the Melbourne Cricket Club after successfully completing the National Sports Museum. The project involved both the demolition and extension of the existing pavilion.

The revamped pavilion now boasts a range of enhancements. The addition of new bar and function rooms provides a welcoming and versatile space for various events. The amenities have been significantly upgraded to meet contemporary standards, ensuring a comfortable and accommodating experience for users. A state-of-the-art commercial-grade kitchen has been incorporated, catering to the diverse culinary needs of the pavilion's occupants.

Further improvements include the installation of a new scorers box, designed to enhance the efficiency of scorekeeping during events. Modifications to the Queen Street entry ramp have been made, addressing accessibility and convenience for visitors. Additionally, a meticulous restoration effort has been undertaken for the roof and front decking, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and structural integrity.

In a thoughtful approach to preserving the pristine quality of the playing surface, pro-track flooring was strategically laid on the turf. This innovative solution not only safeguarded the integrity of the grounds but also facilitated a temporary path from Roy Street to the pavilion, enhancing the overall accessibility of the facility.
