arete Australia was engaged by Western Health to deliver comprehensive mechanical and electrical infrastructure upgrades at the Djerriwarrh Health Hospital in Bacchus Marsh. These critical enhancements support the growing healthcare needs of Melbourne’s western growth corridor, ensuring improved and more reliable health services for the local community.

Key works included the creation of a new chiller plant area serving both maternity and theatre systems, as well as a complete upgrade of the maternity mechanical systems to accommodate increased demand. On the electrical side, the project delivered a new mains supply, fully integrated main switchboard, and a generator with automatic transfer capabilities, ensuring uninterrupted power for the entire hospital.

Additionally, a new roof was installed over the North and West wings of the hospital, providing long-term protection and enhancing the facility’s structural integrity.

By delivering these significant infrastructure improvements, arete Australia has helped ensure that Djerriwarrh Health Hospital can continue providing high-quality, patient-focused care to its growing community.
