arete Australia was engaged by Pasino Investments to complete the refurbishment of the five-storey heritage building located at 107 Elizabeth Street.
The 107 Elizabeth Street Refurbishment project involved the complete strip out of the upper levels (1 – 5) of the existing 100+ year old building, revitalising the space into a modern architectural office space. We also undertook the refurbishment of the fully tenanted ground floor retail space whilst it remained fully operational.
The upper levels stood derelict for 30 odd years and modernising this Elizabeth Street icon provided its share of challenges for the wider project team to work through and solve. The end result is a vibrant, open plan, multi-level tenancy that will be of benefit to the Melbourne CBD for many years to come.
