Work underway on Narre Warren Police Station upgrade

15th April, 2025

Construction has begun on the much-anticipated upgrade and refurbishment of the Narre Warren Police Station, with Arete Australia leading the delivery of the project. The upgraded facility will provide a modern, efficient and community-focused base for Victoria Police, improving both staff operations and public access.

The project has been strategically staged to ensure police services continue uninterrupted throughout construction. The first stage involves the establishment of a temporary facility to accommodate staff while works take place. This temporary setup is progressing well and is expected to be complete by March next year.

The second stage will focus on a full refurbishment of the existing two-storey building. Upgrades will include a redesigned internal layout to enhance operational flow, along with new electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. Safer prisoner processing areas, upgraded holding cells and improved public amenities will form part of the transformation. External works will enhance both the appearance and the structural integrity of the building.

The project highlights Arete Australia’s continued commitment to building high-quality infrastructure that supports frontline services and delivers long-term benefits to local communities.
