arete were engaged by Cabrini Health to assist them with their goal to extend their service offering by successfully delivering the fitout of their new Orthopaedic and Neurology Operating Theatres.
The Cabrini MC3 Operating Theatres Expansion project included the fitout of a new Orthopaedic and Neurology Theatres within the Medical Centre 3 building in Malvern. The new 525sqm fitout includes Victoria’s first two airframe systems being installed to help in the prevention of contamination within the sterile operating environment, it also allows for future system flexibility.
Stringent Infection control procedures were followed to ensure there was minimal risk to patients from construction site contaminants as the works were completed within a live hospital environment.
The elaborate expansions included the installation of challenging Mechanical, Electrical, AV and Medical Gasses works, along with the installation of nurse call and floor to ceiling vinyl.
